Have been a regular customer of QB house for about 2 years despite it's higher price tag. Happy with it's consistent results probably due to some standard SOP followed by its staffs. However today cut was a bit weird and give a feeling of unusual handling. Feel like the staff was not following SOP or there is no such SOP? Feel confused about the value of QB house...

Poor attitude service. My child is cutting his hair. Keep chasing me out. And there is no crowd or people waiting inside. Keep want to kick people out. Very bad manner and staff has attitude problem. Rather go to neighbourhood hair salon. Crazy shop. Will not come again.

I had an infuriating experience at that shop, and let me tell you, there are far better options available for the same price. The service was beyond disappointing; despite explicitly stating the length and style I wanted, the so-called stylist, who happened to be an auntie, couldn't be bothered to wear her glasses. The result? My hair was chopped too short and looked like a complete disaster.
When I pointed out the obvious mistake, she didn't even bother to acknowledge it. Instead of taking responsibility, she thought spraying water on my hair would magically fix everything. To top it off, she had the audacity to imply it was somehow my fault! She was trying to shift the blame and make the situation out to be my mistake. This lack of accountability and professionalism left me absolutely furious.
Given the chance, I wouldn't go near that place again. I strongly caution anyone against trusting stylists from China with poor English, math skills, and clearly no clue about how to cut hair properly. Save yourself the frustration and choose a salon where they actually care about their customers and know what they're doing.

garbage service, this "stylist" who is just a man child who dosen't understand instructions talked me to me as if i owe her money while i was scanning the qr code to pay...then when i tell her cut below eyebrow and at the eye,she cut until way above eyebrow and butchered the sides and back when i clearly told her to clean up,i specifically told this woman to have a slope at the back, even showing with hand gestures, she replies with "i dont understand" and proceeded to chop my whole back off...worst part is when she was cutting my hair half way she started cutting the air multiple times and clearly having a grin under that mask... worst haircut i have ever received in the life i have lived on this earth, never coming back again.....

I came to this Qb house outlet couple of times to give it a benefit of a doubt but i give up. I will not patronise this outlet again.
During my previous visits, i was attended by different hairdressers. Each time (except one time) i was met with passive negativity. They seem to hate being there doing a job.
There is a hairdresser that show attitude when you are assigned to her. you better describe the hairstyle you want to cut to her liking. Otherwise she will stare at you blankly and not offer any advice. Unfortunately, i was attended by her couple of times, no improvements were seen over time.
On another more recent episode, another hairdresser cut my hair. She is clearly rushing for her break as she rushed through the haircut routine. During the process, the shaver nicked my skin once (luckily no skin breakage), and she accidentally shave the back of the head deeper than intended.
After these experiences, i have enough and do not recommend this outlet. Try other haircut outlets, there are several in jurong point.

Aside from all the unpleasant experiences, i would like to commend one of the male hairdresser who wear specs and dyed his hair. He is the only hairdresser that exhibit professional attitude. He offer advice and engage the customers. He is not rushing through the service but provided a quick, professional and thorough haircut. Thank you for that.

Do not go in for a haircut if the staff are mostly "aunties". That by itself is not a problem - I don't wish to sound prejudiced. The staff who tended to me was friendly at first (maybe a little too much), but sulked and was rude when I requested some adjustments. She suggested that I shouldn't cut my fringe because I have thinning hair at the sides, but it's common knowledge that short hairstyles look better on guys with male pattern baldness, so I insisted on having her trim my fringe.
Besides that, she was quite rough during the haircut. It felt like she was cutting grass while using the hair clipper, and she used so much force when brushing the fallen hairs after the haircut. Despite asking for a trim of 1 month's length, she sloped the back of my hair so much that it looks like a mushroom.
This is not a neighbourhood barber, so I expect professional service - to the point and no frills in between. I'm not looking to make friends with you, nor ask for your advice (I would have gone to an expensive salon otherwise). The staff at the branch at JEM or Ng Teng Fong General Hospital are way more professional and humble.

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the haircut by a hairstylist called Zhong Min I received at your salon on 27-Jan ( before cny) I specifically requested that the front of my hair be trimmed slightly shorter. However, the hairstylist failed to properly assess or refine the cut and instead made a single, unprofessional snip that left my hair uneven and unflattering—resembling a careless cut made by a child with scissors.
The result was so unsatisfactory that I had to visit another salon to fix the damage, incurring additional expenses. To make matters worse, the stylist even asked if I wanted the back cut as well, which, given the lack of skill demonstrated, I would not have trusted them to do

Dear QB House Team,
I recently visited your outlet at Jurong Point 20/12/24 at 11:45am and I am deeply disappointed by the treatment I received. I was sweaty and in need of a haircut, but the hairdresser on duty looked at me with clear disdain, as if I were filthy. This made me feel humiliated and unwelcome.
I value professionalism and respect when visiting any service establishment, and this experience fell far short of those expectations. I kindly request that you look into this matter and ensure your staff upholds a respectful attitude toward all customers.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I hope to hear back from you soon.
Best regards,

Very bad attitude. Bring my wheelchair mum for hair cut and there are no other customers. Refuse to let me wait inside for my mum, she said the queue chair for customers, I ask her whether any customers now, she kept quiet. This will be the last time I bring my mum for hair cut. It’s not cheap $18 and yet awful service

Kim is a very professional hairstylist. She observed very good hygiene to ensure her tools are senatized before using on each customer. I like the way she style my hair as she is able to explain the contour and property of my hair type to produce very nice hair style. She has very easy going personality and we had a good time chatting. I really enjoyed the haircut session and strongly recommended everyone I know to visit this QB House outlet located at Jurong Point.

Good experience cutting hair. Marcus Ng the hairstylist really took the time to cut and style my hair even though he could have just done a quick cut and cut more customers hair. Can see his passion in hair styling
