They put back the BLOOD STAINED KNIFE WITHOUT PROPER SANITISATION. This was my first visit to LA Barber and unfortunately, it will also be my last. My experience was unprofessional and concerning, and I would not recommend this barbershop to others. Details of the experience: Upon arrival, I requested a haircut. Unfortunately, the haircut I received was uneven and did not meet my expectations. Additionally, the barber accidentally cut my skin, causing bleeding. Look at the picture, you can see there is a patch where it is beyond skin cut. Barber try to make amends by cutting even shorter without telling me he messed up. They should seriously look to retrain their barber. It is not even symmetrical on both ends as well. No integrity on barber end that he messed up, just try to cut more to cover up! WOW.. I observed the barber wipe the blood off the tool with a cloth and put it back without proper sanitization. This raised serious hygiene concerns. When I requested a refund, the barber was unapologetic and made me wait for an extended period. I was eventually offered a refund but received no apology from the barber or manager. Barber cannot even communicate properly in English. If you want to come to Singapore, least learn basic English. I contacted the shop again the following day to inquire about the promised medical fee compensation and was informed it would take up to two weeks for processing. This timeline contradicts the initial promise of a 1-2 day turnaround. Overall impression: I am deeply disappointed with the lack of professionalism and hygiene standards I encountered at this barbershop. The haircut itself was unsatisfactory, and the subsequent handling of the situation was unacceptable. I urge potential customers to consider my experience before visiting this establishment. Is it worth 45 dollars?!! You be the judge. They are under EC HOUSE CHAIN which is a budget barber shop.

1. Got a haircut at LA Jurong Point. The barber knew exactly what I wanted. The whole vibe was chill, and I felt right at home. Most impressive is they sanitize every tool in a UV box after each service. Definitely my new spot for haircuts!

I had a phobia entering barber as i have sensitive skin conditions. For past 10-15 years i would avoid and do my haircut diy at home however today i thought why not since im going bald must as well tryout a professional barber as the store was empty. Upon entering i was greeted , showed the price and explained whats included hence the hefty price tag which im totally fine and appreciate the transparency. The moment of truth came shortly after a few cuts and shaving , the barber notice my sensitive skin areas , im surprise he did another 1 or 2 touch up and leave it untouch. This goes to all my other sensitive areas as well. I was so impress i had to come here to recommend their service to others facing the same issue as me. This is probably the only barber place that knows what they are doing.the equipment used doesnt feel itchy, the shaver feel thin and doesnt feel painful when hitting my sensitive areas. Despite the challenges he has styling my balding hair , he did a great job covering it with a recommended mohawk. After the cut I got service with a hair wash and massage which felt awesome. Im sorry I didnt catch your name Mr Barber. But he is bald, long beard with glasses. You are a champ đŸ€˜thanks to you my phobia for barbers are gone and i will be back in the future. Thank you once again.

Been coming here for few times and loved every visit. The haircut's always spot on, and they trimmed my son's hair perfectly. I always ask a lot about how to style my child's hair, and they're patient enough to explain every step to me. Fair prices and awesome service. Highly recommend❣❣

2nd time here, my 1st time they were quite welcoming, 2nd time was pretty nice, it's not the cheapest but you get what you pay for. Maybe the beard trim was worth a skip, but it does give u the classy male barber experience.

Hi, you have a very attitude staff at your Jurong point basement outlet. We were trying our luck just now (30 Sep, Sat), as it was about 9.20pm. We pushed the door and asked your staff nicely whether we can still get a haircut. Your male staff, wearing blue shirt, sitting at counter, don’t even bother to look at us and just waived his hand and say something like “closed”. We understand it’s late and we couldn’t get the service, but your staff was having an awful attitude and I’d say RUDE. There’re sooo many hair salons out there and the market is so competitive, I’d wish you guys good luck if this is how your staff been trained in customer service, or I would rather say “basic manner”. Would never consider to patronize again.

Impatient and rude attitude. Walked in to check on how they charge per haircut, one of two barber only said “$45. Want cut or not.” In the most annoyed tone possible. As if I owed them something. In general not a pleasant environment and I believe there wasn’t a need to receive such treatment more so over a mere haircut.

The attitude and the way thus store works is like we own them... I booked an appointment at 1pm.. I know I am late for 15min but this haircut outlet practice mostly appointment base and they didn't give me a call to check on my status... not even giving grace period. When I walk in, there was already one guy sitting down with his hair clip up and about to cut... how long does the barber need to discuss how the hair should be and so nice there is one guy waiting there cos I was late? The barber didn't even have the courtesy to call with our number use for registration. He just tell me I am late and slot given to ppl. Not even a word of sorry that he didn't called me or wait for me. So meaning we cannot have grace period for booking but they can cut the hair late and we need to sit and wait for them? Yes end of the day I know I am late... but the attitude socks max Thank you

I’m someone who is very particular about the skill set for cutting my hair. That person must know how to cut a mens hair. I like the whole experience which includes a quick massage, hot towel and shampooing my hair. To me the most important thing is the haircut. You can try to deliver premium service and yet deliver a so so haircut, to me is a no go. So my hair stylist went on a holiday for one month and I need an urgent hair cut today. I have been passing by LA Barbershop at Jurong Point millions of times and didn’t really check them out as I thought it’s another shop. Read the reviews and found Eric name was mentioned and he happened to be at Lot One instead of Jurong Point. Without hesitation, I went straight to Lot One to look for Eric as I don’t want to take my chances. Went for my appointment and Eric met my expectations and help to address some issues with my hairstyle. The experience is very good, the skill set is better than most senior hair stylists that I have tried for the past 15 years. Went to Orchard, Far East Plaza, Some difficult to find places at town area, spend a lot of time and money to look for the right hair stylist for my hair. However, each time was a huge disappointment. Before the session, in doubt. After the session, super satisfied and will come back again to follow up and rectify my hair styling issues.

The cut was generally okay. I noticed that both sides weren’t equal and raised it to attention. Nothing else other than a haircut was discussed but i got a wash, steamed towel, massage and a style without my consent. I was charged $45 for services other than a haircut. It wasn’t unwelcomed but i didn’t ask for it or expect to be paying 9x the price of a $5 cut. They also don’t discuss with you what they’ve set out for your appointment. If you’re coming here, know what services you want and clearly communicate it or they’ll assume you want the full suite and charge you accordingly.
