Went down for a facial trial on 23/2/2025. The trial price that i was quoted before the treatment was net $28, but in the midst of my appointment; while i was literally lying on the bed halfway through my treatment a consultant came in and started commenting on my skin and hard sell me a more expensive package while my eyes was covered. i find it very unprofessional 1) to enter the room in the midst of the treatment 2) to sell a package halfway through the treatment while the eyes is closed. 3) They didn't run me through the products that was going to be used on my face After the treatment my skin had a breakout and started to itch, i tried to contact them about it but they were very unresponsive and replied after a day. Even then they were trying to convince me to come down for another treatment. Upon requesting to talk to their manager they started to take the situation seriously. It has already been 3 days and I'm yet to hear from the manager or any other staff from the outlet. Even after letting them know that my skin was in a bad condition they kept repeating that this is very normal after a facial. I don't think it is normal to breakout and have burning sensation. They just kept repeating that i should come down for another treatment and they want to "review" my skin again. I do not recommend this place for facial. Very bad customer service and professionalism very low. Slow replies from consultant. After the treatment i had more pimples and breakouts.

Totally a scam. Signed up the $28 R6 facial trial. The staff at first did a so called skin analysis with an old small machine (as good as a digital magnufier), highlight many skin issues and suggested for a more expensive facial cost $199. I rejected and insisted for the facial type that I signed up. The overall duration of facial was definitely less than 60mins as advertised. In addition, there were many steps skipped. No oxy vacuum, no soothing toner spray, no ampule infusion, no oxy breath mask as per the advertisement. The facial is just purely a basic facial : cleansing, steam, extraction + shoulder massage, face massage, mask, toner and moisturiser. The staff explained thereafter the facial was “customised” to suit different skin needs, the ingredients used was “expensive” which are totally unacceptable to me. With my many years of facial experience, this is the worst ever facial I had did. But I still paid $28 without arguing the price given that it is cheap. So for those who wanted to sign up the trial, it is just a scam for you to sign up first and they will push you to try other more expensive facial. You will either get a real R6 facial or get a basic one like I do, depending on your luck, if you reject to “upgrade” the trial. Definitely not recommended. I’m more than happy if Jean Yip management want to contact me for investigation.

During the appointment, when asked to show my underarm hair, the staff began to laugh and comment on the amount of hair I had. Their remarks, such as "Wah, you have so many hairs," and "Wah, this is not a little, this is a lot," were followed by more laughing and giggling. This behavior made me feel assaulted and embarrassed. Such unprofessional conduct is completely unacceptable. Additionally, while I was lying on the bed, the staff continued to hard sell your services aggressively. They even removed the towel that was placed over my eyes, which I found very intrusive and disrespectful. I was under the impression that the consultation and any discussions about additional services would occur in a separate room, not during the procedure. The treatment itself was also disappointing. I received only four shots on each underarm, which I feel is insufficient for a trial meant to demonstrate the effectiveness of the service. If the intention is to provide a sample treatment, it should at least have a noticeable impact on the customer. Furthermore, the shirt provided for the treatment was extremely loose and appeared to be poorly maintained, adding to the overall negative experience. The behavior of the staff and the quality of the treatment need significant improvement to ensure that future customers do not have to endure the same discomfort and dissatisfaction that I experienced.

Go for $28 free trial.. End up, the neck n eye treatment all very fast. Even shoulder massage also superb fast, felt like less than 1 minute. Not even value for $28. Told me bring a friend at $8, end up get us to add essence at $48. $56 no machine and very fast also. Won’t go again. Following their ad from FB. Note that is less than 1 hour for facial, including half hour mask. Cleansing ,machine, shoulder massage, eye treatment n neck treatment less than half hour. Can image how fast. Very bad experience. The worst and most painful facial I have ever had. Wherever they send their staff for training, they should stop sending them there. The facial lady should be fired as well. I came in for their trial facial with no visible pimples, only a few small bumps on my jaw. I came out with my jaw breaking out and my skin bruised. The facial lady was so rough but terrible at her job, it made the whole experience unpleasant. Despite this, areas such as my nose still have a lot of blackheads after the facial. When she used the needle to prick my skin, it was so painful, she definitely went too deep into the skin. The massage she gave after was also rough and painful, don't know why she even bother with it. My vision was also super blurry when I came out of the facial, not sure if it's the way she massaged my eye area or the product used, but the blurriness lasted for a good hour before my vision came back to normal. This facial is truly a health hazard and no one in their right mind should go for it. Even though I paid $18 for the trial, it was a waste of my money. The facial lady is also definitely mentally ill for thinking whatever she is doing is acceptable.

I certainly didn’t like my first facial treatment and was also quite offended with how she analysed my face. The extraction was ridiculously painful. she was not gentle nor gave me a warning about it. Pretty sure there will definitely be an acne scar on my face and this is really infuriating. update: I have 4 more new pimple on my face after the treatment. this is so upsetting!

Unpleasent experience. Hard sale game strong. Went for $28 60min trial facial. Harsh skill the staff use needle to poke so deeply. I voice out the pains she says this is it, please bear it. Told it includes face massage, but NONE. Came out 10min earlier, found my nose black heads not cleaned. Asked the promoter, and she said impossible to clean all in 1hour. Continued the hard sale game. Will not visit any Jean Yip Facial anymore. Unprofessional and unskilled.

My mum went to dye her hair dark brown today at the Jurong Point outlet. There is a thick line of dye around her scalp. She was charged 130 for dyeing and washing. This is horrible workmanship. Who would like to go out with this on their head? Plus it will probably damage her hair. Will not recommend
