In a nutshell, deceptive promotions, unprofessional cutting skills and very poor attitude. WORST HAIRCUT EVER!
误导消费者,理发不专业/偷工减料,服务态度差。最糟糕理发体验,没有之一!
An utterly disappointing and upsetting experience. Not surprised that their reviews are mostly complaints.
Attracted by their 50% discount as depicted in the photo below, I walked in for a simple haircut. As the terms and conditions were not illustrated explicitly, I checked with their staff who assured me that the 50% off promotion was still available. I further enquired if the $10 haircut was after the 50% discount. The staff replied to me in Mandarin, “剪头发$10, promotion后就 $5” (haircut is $10, after promotion it's $5).
I decided to give it a try. I was quickly assigned to a hairdresser who pretty much finished the haircut under 5 min. She did not let me check the condition of the haircut before removing the apron. I put on my spectacles and requested her politely to cut my fringe shorter. The hairdresser replied in Mandarin, “前面不用剪太短的,简短就不好看了” (It's not necessary to cut the front short as it won't look good if it's too short.) I eventually informed her to just cut it shorter. I could sense her impatience as she did not even bother to put back the apron properly. I had to pull the apron myself to fully cover my upper body. She then cut it grudgingly and wanted to call it an end without even clearing off the hair she just cut. I had to remind her to blow off the additional hair she cut from the fringe.
While I made my way to the cashier I was told that the haircut cost $10. I clarified with her that a staff earlier told me that it's $5 after the discount. The hairdresser then explained that the 50% off was only applicable for dying and perming of hair. I was shocked and tried to look for the staff I enquired about the promotion earlier but she was nowhere to be found.
I did not make further argument with the hairdresser as I needed to rush off. Nevertheless, I felt cheated and upset by their deceptive marketing techniques.
I was also disappointed by the haircut itself which was done unprofessionally. Some basic components such as shaving of the posterior hairline and side burns, checking of hair condition before completion of haircut were all missing. The hairdresser pretty much wants to rush through her job.
In summary, a dishonest salon that offers substandard haircut with very poor service and attitude.

Bro the old lady is not qualified for cutting hair. Told her to not go high because I'm sensitive about my forehead, she went all the way up. She also charged me 15 rather than the usual 10 just because she felt like it. Please help yourself and go somewhere else

Prolly the last update 28 Mar 2023. The only outlet left is at Jurong Point next to GV. Level 3. Still same rules members please cut 10am to before 8pm. And tell them your package belongs to which outlet, cause all the different outlet’s iPad with them. There isn’t a queue when I went. Service was okay as usual. The lady who cut my hair kindly explained that the boss have to shut the other outlets cause they weren’t earning money and the rent has increase. Ohwell what other reason was I expecting LOL. Please use finish your packages ASAP, we really don’t know how long more this outlet can last 😅
LOL UPDATES on 27Mar 2023, rushed down after work to WOODLANDS MRT outlet hoping to get a trim cause the hair is getting too annoying and just wanna use finish the package And W-T-F it’s PERMANENTLY CLOSED. Where are the outlets that still have this shop? Anyone knows?
Wanted to trim my hair, then first thing I walk in they ask if I member. I said ya I member, then they proceeded to tell me, to use the member cut before 8pm. If want cut now is $10. SMLJ?? Got such thing?? LOL.

🚩🚩🚩 Place is full of red flags. Avoid at all costs. Cut at your own risk‼️
My hair was cut by old lady with short red hair. Before she attended to me, I had to wait for her to wash and dry her hair.
Biggest 🚩 was when she started shaving my hair off WITHOUT asking what I wanted. I immediately told her that I only wanted to trim my sides and back. She started yapping about how “as hairstylists we will respect a customer’s preferences”. She then cut my fringe, but I didn’t think anything of it as I wasn’t wearing specs and thought they were thinning shears. Didn’t realise till it was too late. Had a sizeable amount of my fringe which I had been growing for over 4 months just cut off instantly.
Lady is unprofessional. She cuts hair to her own preferences and does not respect boundaries. Tried to sell me a package and couldn’t stop yapping the whole time either.
I don’t understand how you can mess up a TRIM. To anyone who wants a haircut, just pay an extra $2 and go to the KCuts right beside this salon.
Business owners clearly don’t care about their salon. Probably just a quick cash grab or easy side income for them.
The picture speaks for itself.

The two auntie hairdressers are still stuck in the styles and techniques of the last century. Even if you show them a reference photo, they’ll still mess up your hair completely. After the haircut, it looked so bad I didn’t even feel like paying — but they still had the nerve to say it looked nice, just to coax me into paying. Even though I got my haircut there a month ago, I’m still upset about it now. I really hope no one else goes to this salon.

This place deserves zero stars. Nuff said from all the rest of the reviews. Scary aunties pushing you to sign packages and worthless treatments. $10 cut worse than QB House and the dear malay barbers. Messed up my wife’s fringe too. $5 anyhow whack her fringe cut 5 snips only, then focused on selling her packages. I better have my dog at home bite her fringe nicer.
Sit down wash hair need to top up $5. Wash at basin cheaper. WTH man… 🤦🏻♂️
Please skip, take your money and time elsewhere and thank me later.

life changing experience, i would like to thank these scammy people for making sure that i will never to step into budget hair salons again, disgusting upsell tactics, profits first, dont care whether customers need or dont need the service as long as they can scare them into making them buy the package. i dont get scared, i just find it extremely annoying. bye forever

A life changing experience.
I would like to thank the ladies here for showing me that money doesn’t matter, quality does. Today I walked in wishing my hair was shorter and neater. I walked out later wishing I was bald. This experience has truly shaped me as a person and I will never doubt the pricing of my beloved QB House ever again. Sure, $10 is nice but for an extra $4 at QB House, you are getting treated like a human being. Sure, they have a dedicated tv to show ads but I call that free entertainment.
At QB House, you get an actual haircut that isn’t lopsided, a proper hairstylist that doesn’t talk loudly to their colleagues while shoving the hair trimmer into the back of your head, a floor that isn’t covered in a carpet of hair, and a cape that doesn’t smell sweaty with weird stains on it.
To all my friends reading this review, spend that extra $4, go to QB House, and move on with your life, there is no need to contemplate about their price. Be thankful for a proper haircut that is priced appropriately, don’t be stingy. Saving $4 is only going to make you regret your life choices. So, please, for the love of your hair, don’t ever come here unless you hate yourself.
