Wide variety of halal choices. Affordable and large portion. Husband enjoys the vietnamese bahn mi. Also there's my childhood favourite fried banana, banana ball, fried cempedak etc. Located right next to popular book shop. Fair price app payment is accepted.

The fried carrot cake in the food court was not bad. Very good portioning. A bit sweet but I like the radish in big chunks. And actually there is no more fried carrot cake stall in the whole of JP so this is the only place to get my fried carrot cake craving fixed.

The Yong tau foo / Yong tau fu is a really good healthy meal. 7 items for $6.50, which is expensive but for a mall it’s not bad.
It’s very fast.

Nasi Padang stall.
Patronised this stall once long time before and surprised by the expensive bill. Decided to give second try today and guess what, $11.70 for a meal consist of rice, fish, tempe and vege. The taste is nice, but be prepared for the pricier than usual bill for a normal meal.

Many things here are expensive. Halal tax is real. Beef bulgogi and salmon from Korean stall is $11.39 after 10% off, bibimbap is $9.80 before discount. Tastes good. But even laupasat sells cheaper at $6+. Daylight robbery.

Went to the Yong Tao Foo Stall during lunch. Yong Tao Foo with Rice takeaway! Aunty asked ‘separate or together’ I dont undertand whether she want to mix my soup with the rice or mix the ingredient with the soup.’ when asked to clarify. She shouted at me and start talking shit about me to her colleague. And I apologise for the confusion and told her she dont have to shout. She ignore and keep cursing me. Its so humiliating as it happen during peak hour. I’m a regular patron there and usually when ask for extra sauce they didnt charge me anything. Not sure if its their policy or what. But this aunty charge me which i dont mind paying. Why sometime free sometime need to pay? Just because u dont like me u ask me to pay. No receipt was given for the extra sauce asked.
and I just checked! SHE DIDNT GIVE ME THE EXTRA SAUCE THAT WAS PAID! Total paid 8.40 for rice+7items. Pricelist stated otherwise. Aunty dont like then charge as if she owns that stall.

The mancik working the counter at the nasi padang stall has quite an attitude. Ordered paru goreng, mutton curry and rice. Was charged $15!? Not very flavorful, and the portion size very small. Quite a rip off when buying halal food.

The Vietnamese food are pretty good for the price; the iced Milo is thick but kinda expensive - $2.25 after 10% discount; chicken rice sucks, especially the Chinese uncle's attitude; tables and floor are very clean compared to those Kopitiams, i wonder why the differentiated treatment in cleanliness.

Order a Promo 1 which is Kway Teow with Oyster Omelette at Wok Delight, i request for no vegetables but when they called my order, still have vegetables on it. I know it’s small issues but i paid what i eat, the staff still told me, ‘abit only still cannot isit?’ I kindly say nope and they redo again with their attitude face. Understand it’s struggling & annoying during peak hours but shouldn’t treat us this way if you want us to be your loyal customers.
