Responsibilities
- Identify and secure new business opportunities with shipyards, refineries, and industrial clients in Singapore and Southeast Asia to drive company growth.
- Develop and execute sales strategies that achieve revenue targets and expand market presence in the corrosion protection sector.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure long-term partnerships and generate repeat business.
- Negotiate contracts and proposals effectively, ensuring alignment with market rates and compliance standards.
- Represent the company at industry events to enhance brand visibility and provide actionable market feedback for service improvement.
Required competencies and certifications
- Demonstrate a minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or sales within coating works or corrosion protection.
- Apply knowledge of Singapore’s Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and relevant industry standards such as ISO, NACE, and SSPC.
- Exhibit strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills with a proven track record of closing deals.
- Possess an established network and prior experience working with Singapore shipyards, refineries, or EPC contractors.
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
