R&D Laboratory Officer (Chemical)

Our client are looking for a motivated R&D Officer to join their team. This role focuses on the development and formulation of adhesive products, with opportunities to contribute to innovative projects and provide technical expertise to support our operations.

Location:

• Tuas (Transport pickup available at Clementi, Jurong East, Choa Chu Kang, Boon Lay Jurong Point)

Responsibilities:

• Design and formulate adhesive products, as well as synthesize fine chemicals and specialty chemicals.
• Conduct adhesive analysis, development, and inspection.
• Prepare documentation and samples for projects and customer needs.
• Provide technical support to the Sales Department.
• Perform calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
• Maintain work procedure documentation in compliance with ISO standards.
• Undertake other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in the adhesive, paint, or chemical industry is an advantage.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to interact with people at all levels.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
