Deposit refund processing is very bad. Almost assistants of these centers are unprofessional. Replying very late.

I feel compelled to share my disappointing experience with THE BALLET & MUSIC COMPANY regarding my daughter's lessons. We were never informed that she wouldn't be allowed to continue her make-up classes once we stopped the regular lessons. This lack of communication is extremely unprofessional and frustrating.
Additionally, one of the cancelled lessons was due to the teacher falling sick, which was entirely not our fault. Despite this, the company didn't accommodate or provide any flexibility, leaving us feeling unfairly treated.
To make matters worse, when it came to getting our deposit back, we were told it would take three months and would be issued via cheque. After reading several reviews on Google, it seems many others have faced significant issues in getting their deposits returned. This lack of transparency and poor customer service is unacceptable.
I strongly discourage other parents from enrolling their children in this school. My experience has been nothing but disappointing.

Staff and receptionist seems unsure of the programs available whether it's individual or group lesson etc. I have no confidence to sign up after reading the reviews here.

The worst school I ever encountered!
Owe me refunds >$2,000 due to closure of CCK branch, giving only two weeks notice in Feb 2025.
The school also lied that refunds will be given in 1-2 weeks but has been delaying for more than 4 weeks until now.
Totally untrustworthy!

While the experience with the school has been nonetheless pleasant. While weekend classes seems great so far I would implore any parent who's thinking of enrolling their child for the beginner/introductory class to avoid the Thursday evening classes after multiple observations.
The teacher shows a lack of care and empathy towards younger kids, which by nature require more patience and empathy.
I believe that there's a huge difference in being firm and assertive vs being a lousy person engaging in early childhood coaching activities.
The question begs, why even take up a job where the scope requires care and coaching for children when you are lacking in that department?

There is no zero star to rate, so I choose one star. Very bad experience. Cheating and irresponsible center. I let my daughter take 3 music courses with the center. In the third course, I found out that the teacher reused the very first course material to teach my daughter while they matched my daughter in the same class with a younger child. I canceled the registration. They promised that they would process my cancellation after 1 month. But actually they did nothing until now after 3 months. No refund including the deposit and the remaining 9 sessions of the cancelled course. I called and went to their center many times, but they tried to delay the process and pointed to another person. All the records seem to be deleted. Don't waste your time, money, and energy there.

RUDE RECEPTIONIST! The location in the google map is out of date and i couldn’t find the shop so I called the reception to help me out. And she said “i don’t work for jurong point you need to find someone from jurong point to help you”. It will not take 1 min for her to help me but still she said its not her job.
I don’t know much about ballet but if i have to see the long face at the reception every time i send my kid to the class, i would rather choose other option.

Poor experience with their deposit refund process. We were only informed of a major class schedule change on the day itself, and despite withdrawing promptly, the refund was delayed with no clear communication. Unprofessional handling overall. Would not recommend based on this experience.
