I’ve been here multiple times, and the food has always been consistently good. This time, I ordered the black cod, tofu salad, and beef udon which were absolutely delicious! The flavors were well-balanced, and each dish was thoughtfully prepared. Definitely a spot I’ll keep coming back to.

Have been coming for many years, can safely say that staff are very friendly and generally will attend quickly to any needs for food or cutlery! For today, food was delicious and came quickly with few customers in the restaurant. Clean place with the exception of a few flies!

Service from an elderly Chinese male staff was fantastic today, didn’t get his name but would really love to commend his sincere and good service. Our table was shaky and he had to stoop down to add paper to stabilise it. Given his age I was worried for his joints. I asked if he needed to ask another colleague to do it but he said he can do it. He also took initiative to refill my green tea multiple times without me needing to ask.
His attitude is commendable, please send my compliments to him!

ichiban boshi is my jurong point go-to food spot. whether i'm dining alone or with friends, it always hits the spot <3 the fish here is incredibly fresh and full of umami goodness — that unagi don has got to be of my favourite dishes in all of singapore (a MUST order). their rolls are a bit pricey but absolutely still worth the splurge, with slippery, melt-in-your-mouth fish and a holy marriage of ingredients and flavours. regardless of the time of day, you'll be seated really fast here, and you'll receive your food quickly too. don't sleep on this gem in the basement !!
